Privacy Policy — Morphonic

Morphonic ("we", "our", or "us") is a personalized sound therapy app built by Boundless Creations. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights over it. We keep this simple — we collect only what we need to deliver the service.

1. Data We Collect

Account

Your email address, collected when you sign in via magic link. We use Supabase for authentication.

Session data

When you generate a session: your emotional state input ("how you feel" and "how you want to feel"), the AI-generated session parameters (frequencies, breathing pattern, ambient sound, rationale), session duration, completion status, and any post-session feedback you provide (feeling + rating).

Preferences

Your daily email time, timezone, email opt-in status, and which session is set as your active daily session.

Reactions

Thumbs up / thumbs down responses on session previews, used to improve recommendations.

Usage data

Anonymous page view and performance data via Vercel Analytics. No cookies, no personal identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Data

To generate personalized binaural beat sessions using your emotional input
To send your daily session reminder email (only if you opt in)
To improve future session recommendations based on your history and feedback
To sync your session history across devices when you're signed in

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Morphonic. Each has its own privacy policy.

Supabase

Database and authentication. Your account and session data is stored here. Data is hosted in the United States (US East — Ohio).

Resend

Transactional email delivery. Used to send magic link sign-in emails and daily session reminders.

Inngest

Background job scheduling. Used to trigger your daily session email at your chosen time.

Anthropic (Claude)

AI session generation. Your emotional state input is sent to the Claude API to generate session parameters. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models.

ElevenLabs

Text-to-speech for optional guided breathing narration. Narration text (e.g. "Breathe in") is sent to the API — no personal data.

Vercel

Hosting and anonymous analytics (page views, web vitals). No cookies, no personal data in analytics.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in across page visits. This is a strictly necessary cookie — it allows the app to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (sessions, preferences, reactions) is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your personal data
Deletion — delete your account and all associated data from Settings
Export — download your session history as JSON or CSV from the History page
Opt-out — unsubscribe from daily emails at any time via the link in any email or in Settings
Correction — contact us to correct inaccurate data

7. Children

Morphonic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
